Hey,
I was thinking, what happens after you invest in your dream getaway land?
You can camp and bring water, but then what about summer time. You will want power.
You can pay to have permanent power run. (I have contact info to the local power company if you would like to investigate this route.)
With solar power you won’t pay for power when you are not there, but what does it cost?
Below is some information I found which may be helpful in your investigation.
Portable Solar Generators
Here is an article that explains what these systems can and cannot do.

Here is a small portable unit for RV’s at Lowes. It sells for about $1,000.

Solar Power System for a Home
I found a website that has an “Off Grid Calculator” for a home solar power system.
https://www.wholesalesolar.com/solar-information/start-here/offgrid-calculator
Once you define the size of the home and what items you want to power, then you get the size required and can start pricing a home system.
Please let me know if this information was helpful to you.
Also, I would appreciate your feedback on what information you would like to see in future articles.
